Eligibility

The Emergency Food Grant Fund is for Tasmanian Residents only.

One payment of $350.00 per household is available.

Tasmanian households who have gone without power for at least 72 hours (3 Days) are eligible.

Additionally to provide appropriate support to seasonal workers and individuals in assisted living group homes - there is a payment of $150 available to these eligible applicants. (Both grant payments cannot be claimed).

Before completing this form, please ensure that you are eligible to apply for the Emergency Food Relief Grant.

  • Personal Identification (Photo ID) must be provided
  • Residential address evidence showing you reside in an eligible area (power outage of 72 hours or more)
  • Documents and evidence provided must be current.
  • One payment per household

Please note claims of outages of 72 hours or more will be validated.

*If you have already received an Emergency Flood Relief payment - you are STILL eligible to receive payment under the Emergency Food Grant Fund.

            Subject to your application being approved, payment of the grant will be made by direct deposit into the applicant's nominated bank account.
